You can take Tylonel with codeine safely after the 12th week of pregnancy, but it should only be taken when prescribed so probably not for a cold.  I would ask your doctor before taking anything even though it was given to you during the pregnancy taking it for a cold or over taking it isnt a good thing. There are other medicines you can take for a cold that are safer during pregnancy.

I broke my finger around 7 weeks and was prescribed tylenol with codeine after the doctor realized I couldn't have ibuprofen. You should ask your doctor first, because I don't know if different proportions of tylenol and codeine could make a difference.

For a cold, though, my doctor told me Robitussin DM and cough drops were safe during pregnancy. Tea with honey did better for my sore throat than cough drops did.
