UTI????

I am 23 weeks and 5 days and I have had 12 uti's so far. I have drank cranberry juice and lots of water and do finish my antibiotics but still getting them. Most of the time I don't even have the symptoms to know I have one until they tell me I have one. Like tonight I went to the ER only because of a severe migraine and they run labs to make sure I am not in preeclamisa stage and come back to say I have a utility? Wtf? I don't know what else to do. I have been put on macrobed and among a few others and well nothing. They have also given me a shot of rocephelen hoping that would not it out but no such luck. So now what do I do or can expect?

Drink lots of water when u dont have one and actually unless u have a UTI, dont drink cranberry juice. Its very acidic and can actually cause UTI"s. Also, dont wear tight underwear or underwear with dye. I am very sensitive down there but preventative care is very important for me.

Well I think I have found my culprit to so many frequent utis. My trailer has black mold which can or may be the reason. Thankfully I am moving out tomorrow but maybe this is why.

Cranberry tablets!! They fix mine and I don't get them if I'm on them. Some grocery stores have them and some pharmacy or chemists. Just take one a day :)) goodluck

I use to struggle with UTI's for years. I stopped wearing thongs, only use mild soaps like ivory (nothing with dies or scents) and only use free and clear laundry detergents. Since I started doing all of this about 7 years ago i have only had like one UTI. Hope this helps.

Wow I am so sorry to here your struggle.. I have been struggling with BV all my life and during pregnancy. My docs told me to start wiping front to back because I had a huge habit of wiping back to front basically placing germs all in my urethra and around my c l i t o r i s. If you wipe back to front then it could be an issue but if not I'm not sure. Ever since I changed wiping direction, no bv no yeast or uti and I have had all three during pregnancy.
