UTI Test Pic/Questions

So I took one of those test strips that come in a box of AZO for UTI's... I have NOT taken the AZO, but I did take the strip test and this is what is shown. I took this last night..... I also took a hpt because DF wanted me to. Told him it could be too early to know anything with a good %... Well he thinks he saw a very faint line and I told him I didn't see it. Maybe he could see something I didn't but I don't recall ever seeing one. So I am testing again Friday/Saturday. AF is due Saturday.

My breasts started to get tender yesterday. Now my nipples burn at times and my breasts are tender and sore to the touch. Just waiting this whole thing out this week. Hoping for a BFP.

With me not knowing if I am pregnant or not and cannot afford to go to the doctor right now for a UTI, is AZO safe to take right now? Or is there anything I can take to help? Today, my peeing has felt better, but I am still having the urge to go freguently even if it's just a tiny amount.

If it persists too long, I will be going to the doctor though I may not be able to afford it just yet. Any information is SO helpful!!

Thank you ladies. Back to my other question... How do you know if AZO has any HCG? I don't want it to effect my hpt this week.

Also, it says on the box that it may cause stomach upset. Does that mean like nausea or vomiting? Or diarrhea-constipation?

For uti you drink some pineapple juice or cranberry juice it will help n lots of water

UTI are not fun! I use to get them ALL the time! I don't think that AZO will hurt at all but if you are still concerned drink PURE cranberry juice. you can usually get that at a health food store. Don't drink the onces like Oceanspray with all the sugar and stuff added.

Yeah, I would start popping the AZO and drink lots of water. It looks like you have a light UTI and might be able to tackle it with the AZO. Start taking it and then retest in 24 hours.

I don't think AZO has HCG. It's basically encapsulated cranberry.

Is there any way of knowing if AZO has HCG?

Treating the UTI is VERY important as it could lead to complications and even death to an unborn baby if left untreated. So I would say that if you do have a UTI that taking AZO is going to be just fine.

Also in early pregnancy taking something isn't going to have any affects until after the placenta forms (around week 8-10+).

I've looked online moments ago where women said they have taken it in early pregnancy and later on when their about 20-30 weeks and their doctors told them it would be fine. (since I don't know if I'm pregnant or not) I may call the pharmacy tomorrow and ask about that too.. Thank you.

You can see if a friend can take you to planned parenthood if you are living in the US. They charge on a sliding scale. Or Walgreens or CVS pharmacy had clinics it's a flat $60 fee not including any prescriptions. You can also call a pharmacy like Walgreens and ask if AZO is safe to use in pregnancy or look online.

I am trying to pay off a bill that I just got for surgery last month on my jaw. I owe almost 7,000 on it. I am not in pain, right now. My mother told me to just take AZO and I told her the possibilty of pregnancy. But, I wanted others opinions.

DF is on night shift for two weeks so he'll be sleeping during the day. Where he works he can't call in for a year or it's 2pts and he loses his job. He got the last points from taking me to the doctor. He's called in on all of his days to call... so it's either funerals for immediate family or none.. *sigh*

May talk to my Mom, since she said just take AZO.. If I lived closer she'd take me. DF and I only have one vechicle right now. Waiting to get another one.

I would try to find a free clinic in your area. UTIs can lead to kidney infections, and you could end up in the hospital. A dr's bill is a lot cheaper than a hospital visit.
