Ugh!!!

I am so frustrated. I've take 12 pregnancy tests and ALL of them are positive. I've been needing to make me an appointment to confirm my pregnancy with the health department which it's obvious with no period and 12 positives, I'm pregnant. I call them to set it up and they asked when my last period was which was 12-12-10.... Their making me wait until the 26th of January to call back if I have not started my period even though I said I have 12 positives.

Df said call back and say my last period was the end of November or something but I said no... I'm not going to lie... He thinks that it gets everything going faster but it doesn't. Still have lots of paperwork, bloodwork, etc to get done and then make an appointment with a doctor.....

All in all they won't be seeing me until FEBRUARY for a stupid pregnancy test.... I'm so frustrated!!! Blah

Oh and there is also a doctor my Df's brothers wife went to that came from downtown and she only had to go 30 minutes instead of 45-55.. Downtown is horrible here.

He comes every few weeks and he's on the health departments list of doctors. I thought that was pretty neat since we live far off from everything.

I don't have one right now. Df and I are getting married in a few months and the health department already has me in their computers. We would have to go 45-55 minutes downtown to find someone to go to. We have one red-light and that's about it here. It's in he middle of nowhere. Lol.....

The health department here tests you and gives you a list of doctors if you test positive to choose from. There is a building next door that provides Medicaid for women who are pregnant and I had planned on getting on that after they test me... Just easier to make one trip that day. Whenever that be.

Maybe it's where I live or something, but any time someone ends up pregnant, we head straight for the health department just for the confirmation.

Well I wouldn't go to the ER. They'll charge you at least $100 just for showing up there. I really don't see why you have to go to the Health Dept. either? If you already have an OBGYN you call them and set up an appointment. Most OBGYNs or midwives won't see you until you are 8-12 weeks along. My first appointment is when I'm 8 weeks so it is also in February.

Because I don't have insurance until DF and I get married and it's free there for me. Its that or go to the E.R here.. I live in the country so there's not much of anything at all around the house. The health department is 30 minutes away as it is....

I'm just easily frustrated about it... And yeah, I told DF that it's a bad idea to lie... I just can't do that.

If you lie about the dates than they will think you are further along than you really are and might freak out and think you are miscarrying so I wouldn't do that. I know how frustrating it is to wait my Doctor wouldn't see me until I missed 2 periods.

My doctor won't see me to confirm the pregnancy until 1/24. Why do you have to go through the health department?
