Update hematoma on placenta :( 6cm's

hi girl just letting you know that i went for ultrasound yesturday for the bleeding ive been having the cramps have gotten worse and its heavy brown bleeding, the ultrasound showed a 6cm hematoma on the bottom of the plecenta :( the dr said complete bedrest till 18wk scan in 3 wks not to get outa bed except to go to toilt!!!!!! impossible with 2 kids!
anyway im doing my best he said if it has spread to more of the placenta in 3 wks then its unlikely baby will be getting enough nutrition and we will need to make a desicion :(
has anyone else had this??????
im so scared ive never bled in pregnancy before
so if im not on for a while you know im in bed will try to update you all when i can please pray for us xx

I'm so sorry...I will definatly be praying for you and your baby. I was on bedrest twice, once with a 1 year old running around..and the second time with a 3 & 4 year old running around. I really hope that you are able to get someone to help you full time until things get better. *hugs*

i'm so sorry. i had bleeding in and under the sac and i bled a lot and had pains. however the bleeds were coming form me and not the baby or placenta. mine are pretty much healed now. i hope yours does too...is in placental abruption?~if it is i know that's not good from the research i did on my bleeds

I'm sorry to hear that. Can you get someone to help with the kids? Family , friends, people from church? If not then you might be eligable for a home health aide while you're on bedrest.

Stick to the bedrest plan as borning as it is and try not to worry (I know I had to say it anyways). The best thing you can do for the baby right now is to get off your feet and take it easy.
