VENT! sorry.... This was getting to me.
Its me again.... Was having a great day until I go on Aol and "top news" there is a story about a real life "sister" wife. Two sisters married to the same guy. OK..... The show "sister wives" was ENOUGH. Now they have to "report" on every twisted family there is??? C'mon! Im sorry. Id rather read a story on how a couple manages to stay married for 50 yrs and still be happy rather then any of this non sense. And get this THEY ARENT EVEN LEGALlY MARRIED. So Basically its your hubby cheating on you(first wifee)... -N I CE! phew. vent over.
Girl I wish my hubby would I will pull a Lorena Bobbitt on his behind!!! No JOKE!! All of him belongs to me and me him! julian I believe it was done in the old testament to populte the earth faster. Then I think man took it too far and God said one man one woman!
Besides that I refuse to share my hubby with anyone! lol girl I got a lil upset reading this because I saw some of the show and I was like WTH!!!?? Who does that? Just madness!!

I agree with all of you !!! Once you really think about it, how it really is... its a little disturbing, i just feel bad for the women... and children. The man is living the "life" of his dreams... I mean like someone said, skinny, chubby, blonde brunett.... He gets "upset" another time, and he'll find someone to "please" him.
I think its something dumb women fall into to inflate a stupiid mans ego. He becomes king and does whatever he pleases with these women and they are so dumb to accept it and stroke his overblown ego. I think its sick.
On the show Sister Wives, they all live in the same house but have different spaces for each wife and her children. I personally feel it's gross. The first wife is his legal wife and the rest had a ceremony, but they aren't legally married. It's like allowing your husband to cheat on you while you're in the same house. It's not for me. I don't see how they can be okay with it either. I just don't understand how one person can want to have more than one spouse. The guy on sister wives said he was upset and one of his wives told him the only waay to fix it was to get another wife. Gross.

smjm - I did see on the Tyra show (yes, I love her) a woman that had 2 husbands. Well, actually she did recognize that one was a husband and one was a boyfriend. They had been doing this for a long time - I think she had the bf for 10+ years. I think they had others too...girlfriends for him (and her). But they did have to agree on the people before they were brought in to the relationship. Still to weird for me. I love my hubby dearly, but I don't think I could handle more than one!
As for the show sister wives - I have been curious and did watch some (not all). Their kids don't seem especially bothered by the situation, but I did notice some reactions from them. One of the girls said that she would NOT have a polygamist relationship - she knows jealousy would get to her. And when the dad mentioned having another wife, some of the older kids were like "what, you already asked her to marry you and this is your way of telling us?" The little kids were interested in another mom, but they didn't show the decision of the older kids. It was a short runned series, so I imagine there were issues overall. The finalie (which I haven't seen yet) seems like there are already issues with the new wife...
But I do want to say that this lifestyle IS for some people and to each their own...it's just not for me! :)

Just thinking about it makes me want to ask them all, no do a lie detector test on everyone in every house that's old enough to get one, and ask them yes/no questions about how they feel about it...see how they really do feel.
Yeah... And ESPECIALLY if they are born into this type of household, teaching them thats how we do it, and you will too. Its sad. Because none of those women have "satisfaction" from this type of "relationship"........... Im sure when the child is two or three they ask where is "daddy" today.... Whats mommy going to say? with aunt lisa??? So WEIRD i cant get over it. By the time kids are old enough to understand whats going on, im sure they are already used to it.
Well, with the Duggars the wife has said that she blames birth control for losing a baby/babies (don't remember if it was twins or not) SO her and her husband decided to put it in God's hands, and with that I say more power to them...I personally don't see anything wrong with them having 19 kids but only because they don't go to the gov't for money to survive...they make their own way. My theory...if you can afford to have them, and take care of them....go for it.
But with these men they're "getting their cake and eating it too". To me it's like a real life porn fix. You can have whatever you want in each wife, skinny, fat, blonde, brunette...doesn't matter...you can get whatever you want. BUT that doesn't fix the fact that you're still not committed to one woman, and you're breaking your vows...I mean, if you have 19 kids in one house like the Duggars you can see each child EVERY day, you can talk to them EVERY day...you could spend one on one time with every one of them EVERY day....with more than one wife in more than one home, with kids in more than one home...how could you work, and spend time with every one of your kids AND have "alone time" with your wives if you wanted to? Can we say viagra? I mean with that many wives...it's not like you have the time in a day to do it all, and repeat it every day. I just don't think it's fair to the kids for one. The wives obviously don't care, or they don't seem to...but do the kids really not mind it, or is that just the face they put on in front of the cameras? I'm sure you know as well as I do, that most kids...you ask them if they're ok and fine with something and they'll say yes JUST to avoid a conversation.

Yeah i see exactly what you mean. I personally think how it says in bible one man and one women let no man separate. I no back in the old testament they had this stuff but i didnt really think there "beliefs" survived.... apparently they did!!! And they are thriving if they each have like 50 kids. In a way its nasty.... in SURE there is inter family marriages.... I think poor girls.... seriously... to think oif yourself so low that you have to "share" a man with multiple women. That has got to be insane. They have to have some sort of schedual for there "time".... Suddenly the duggars seem GREAT to me =)
I really don't see how people can be accepting of a husband with more than one wife...I just don't get it. Do they ever think to have more than one husband? I don't know I couldn't handle it...My husband's body is my body, my body is his body...no one else needs to see/mess with it unless it's a dr, and he definitely doesn't need to be with any other woman. It's hard enough keeping up with one family and planning for time...how do these men spend enough time with each woman/child?
lol.. no ive never watched it but its quite annoying to see it all over the news.... I mean is it news ?? really??? There have ALWAYS been creepos and always will be.
I had no ida what that show was about. At least i know I'm not missing anything. I have noticed aol has a lot of "smut" news.
