and she is now 10 wks and great so far
Like Latrice said...I had a miscarriage in June and now I'm 12 weeks pregnant. When I got pregnatn this second time, I didn't ask nor bother with the hcg results because if its going to be a healthy pregnancy the hcg levels don't matter, if not then there's nothing that you can do about it anyway.
Just try to relax and let nature take its course. Many miscarriages go unnoticed because people usually don't test so early. The average women test is after 2 weeks late.
You could have deffinitely ovulated later than you thought, if your period always regular?
Everyone is different so it is hard to say. I don't think having a low level the first time you go is an issue. It's the doubling that is important. I went in Dec 4th and my level was 27 then I went back 2 days later and it was 39. Did not double. I went back again 2 days later and it tripled to 91. The Dr was a little confused by that so I went in a 4th time and it dropeed to 74. I ended up mis-carrying. I did say the whole time though that the low level could just mean early pregnancy and I said that everything could be fine. My nurse said yes. It is possible. I just stopped developing at 6weeks. I was also on the pill when I got pregnant so right there ANYTHING is possible. Stay possitive and wait for your next results. You shoudl be fine!
I just want to say, try to relax and not be stressed, that is one reason i decided not to got hcg levels drawn and let nature take its course, bucz its either meant to be or not meant to be or only meant to be for such a short time frame. I had a missed m/c in june at 10weeks and i new after that once i got preggo i would want my hcg levles taken, but once i got preggo, i realized that would be added stress i dont need.
I have saw many women on here in the past with low levels that were not doubling, and had a healthy pregnancy, i also saw the opposite, it end in m/c.
Each person will have their own experience, i hope yours is a positive one, keep faith and pray.
I will keep you in my prayers.
I was 3 weeks 4 days when I got my first HPT positive. Had an HCG done that day (I'm an ER nurse - we have that luxury) and it was only 14. I had a great pregnancy and it doubled like normal. So if possible for you to have it checked again soon I would think that would be a much higher indication than the initial reading!
4 weeks after your last period started hcg levels can range anywhere from 5-426. There is no way to say what will happen with only one hcg reading, and I don't want to give you false hope. There are many factors that can influence what your levels would read. If you have a longer than average cycle you will ovulate later. I usually ovulate around day 19. Implantation can occur later, which would cause your levels to still be low. It could also be impending m/c. The reason they won't give you a scan is that until hcg levels reach a minimum of 1500 nothing will be seen except thickening of the uterine tissue. It would not give you any useful information one way or the other. I am sorry you are going through this, I have been there as well and I understand. All you can do is wait until your next draw and see what your hormone levels do. I wish you luck!
I just went thru this my count was 200 and a week later they were only 60 and even before then results were back i was in the ER with a miscarriage...hopefully everything works out for you. best of luck i will be praying for you
THE LEVELS NEED TO AT LEAST DOUBLE EVERY FEW DAYS
