Very faint second line... Preg?

I took a hpt this morning from the dollar tree.  I got a very very faint second line almost immediatly.  I am going to retest in a few days, but in the meantime I was wondering how many of you got very faint positives & were preg?  Our one year anniversary is on Mon, so it would be awesome if I am!!!!!!!!

Too anxious too wait to tell him.  I made a time-line photo album from how we met, our first date, the proposal, wedding, and at the end I put the test and said look close... that faint second line may be the beginning of our family!

Good luck!!!!  A line is a line and the fact that it came up immediately......You are pregnant girl.  What a cool anniversary gift!!!

I am not a patient person, but i am trying.  Oh it is hard not knowing 100% .  We have been ttc for almost a year.  Please ladies pray I get a BFP soon.  Thanks for all you help :)

I took a $ Tree test and got a faint positive (and I mean FAINT) so I went and bought a digital Clearblue Easy the same day and it came up "positive".

(I commend you on being able to wait...I couldn't help myself. I had to do it that same day! LOL)

The faint line could be that you have just enough hormones to turn that line on faintly, or it could be a shoddy test.  Like you planned, go ahead and test again in a few days ...by then the hcg in your body will have accumulated even more if you are pregnant.

I used the Dollar Tree tests (hey, they're only $1!!  Test away!) and the second time I used one a few days after the first showed positive, the line was lighter.  So it could just be the tests themselves.

I took a test on my hubby and I's 4 year wedding anniversary - 3 days before AF was due and got a FAINT positive.  I was so bummed because I didn't know what to think of it.  So I took a digital test and it said NOT PREGNANT.  But a day after AF was due I tested and got an immediate positive and a PREGNANT.  So I would test again in a few days, if you got a faint today then by Monday if you are pregnant it should definitly show!  Good luck!

almost all of my pregnancy test started out with a faint line. i understand wanting to tell him by monday! my anniversary is this fri and i am testing today. good luck!

Thanks girl.  I stared at it for awhile making sure I was really seeing a line.  I am creating a time line with photos for our anniversary & I would love to be able to put on there congrats dad!

if it was immediate, and not after 5-10 mins, i'd say you're preggo babe!!!
buuut, and it seems you're ecstatic about this possibility, i'd take another test friday(yes, 2 days make a difference! hehe)...if you get a brighter line, i'd get another DT test, take it monday morning(or whenever you're celebrating your annie), and give it to him! at least he wouldnt get an old brown one hehe lol.....

but, TMK a line is a line, faint or not, as long as it hasnt set long enough to be an evap line.....

Hi there i first tested last weds convinced myself there was a line,my fella was like na your imagining it,well then i was doing it each day until fri,each one looked slightly darker,so took digital and low and be hold positive, a line is a line,fingers crossed it gets darker...
