Vision changes while exercising?

I wonder if anybody's ever experienced this, and if so, what it is.  I was on a treadmill today walking not running (at sort of a fast walk pace) and about 15 minutes after I started my vision started to act really strange.  It sort of looked like it does when you look at something bright and then you get that blurred light spot in your vision, but there were several of them. And at the top of my vision it was sort of wavy/blurry...scared me, especially since it lasted and seemed to get gradually worse.

I stopped early and went home and called my OB. She said to get off my feet and rest for awhile, but she didn't think it was an emergency or anything, to just let her know if it happens again.  Has anybody ever experienced this?

That's good advice, thanks. I just came off being sick too and haven't been able to exercise much because of first trimester fatigue/nausea and asthma issues...never really stopped exercising completely but definitely not in my pre-pregnancy shape.  Guess I just was pushing a little too hard, though I was going slower than I would have pre-pregnancy, maybe not slow enough. Gonna definitely talk to my doc about it next week too.

That's happened to me even before I was pregnant. You must be working your body to much. Or your body didn't have enough water/sugar.  I am a competitive swimmer so its not like I'm not used to a hard workout either. So just try to drink more water and work your body a little less until you see your doctor and see what they say.

It cleared up after I laid down for awhile, right now about an hour and a half later its gone. I have an OB appointment next week, but I'm only 13 weeks along.
