Water??

My nurse and doctors keep telling me I'm not drinking enough water during the day which is part of the cause of my urinary tract infection. I'm trying to drink but I'm just not thirsty enough to manage to drink 2ltrs a day :/ anyone else having this problem and what did you do to make yourself drink more?

I can drink plenty of liquids just not enough water. I mostly drink tea and coffee. I found it easier to just down a bottle. If I sip on it I sit it down and forget about it. I just open the bottle and drink it down. I feel full and a little sick but proud that I got the water down.

I usually will get a water bottle that's 1 liter and force myself to drink at least half of it within an hour and sip on the rest. Its tough I know I'm not drinking enough, winter is hard to be drinking cold water all day long. Even just drinking other liquids is better than nothing at all though!

Thanks girl's, I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling with the water situation! I'll just have to buckle down and drink up, not long left now after all!  :)

Carry a bottle of water around with you, and whenever you look at it just have a sip, even if you aren't thirsty, its best for you and bub

I was having a lot of braxton hicks because of dehydration. I figured I need at least three or four 16oz bottles of water a day and make up the rest with milk or juice to stay hydrated so I've kind of put myself on a schedule.
It's not too hard, but you have to force yourself even if you're not thirsty.
Try to drink half a bottle of water every hour or two and you'll have what you need in no time.
You just have to remember every time you think about skipping out on water that you're depriving you're little one of what he or she needs. That always gets me to do it.
Also, eating pineapple or blueberries can help keep UTI's at bay. The acid in pineapple kills bacteria in your bladder. (I used to get them all the time.)
Oh! And in case you don't already know, tea, coffee, soda (and even juice!) can dehydrate you so keep them to a minimum!

Yeah I kinda have that problem too. The fact that I'm just not thirsty to drink as much as they say and the other fact that I pee ALOT tbh idk what to do. My sister who is a mom told me it made her labor really bad the fact that she didn't drink enough water and she told me to force myself.  Of course I haven't been doing well with that so it makes me have bad Braxton Hicks.. I guess just force yourself idk. Good luck! :)

I bought the flavor packets. And use bottled water. Since it has flavor, I drink it more.
