OK yeah theya re practice contractions that DO NOT change you cervix in any way. So I thought it was happening more then that. It can be normal but you need to gte checked and stay well hydrated! SOmetimes early labor or even active labor only feels like mentraual cramps so you always call you dr and get checked! Good that it stopped but you would not want to start in the middle of the night and then ahve to call or go to the er! You can always call lbaor and delivery at wher you are delivering and tell them who your dr is and what is happening and what you should do. They are very knowledgable!
Braxton Hicks are basically 'fake' contractions that feel like a tightening of your abdomen. They have no pattern and do not increase in intensity as regular contractions will. Also, they usually stop if you drink a lot of water and lie on your left side. They are very normal and start at different times for different women.
Yes, you might be going into early labor.
At the very minimum, call your doctor now to find out what to do. If you get 4 or more of these episodes in 1h you need to head to L&D right away.
I have had that same feeling off and on for weeks. I am almost 35 weeks as well. I did ask my doctor at my most recent OB appt and they said it is pretty normal at this stage to have AF like cramping.
However if you are concerned I always suggest contacting your OB to let them know. In some cases those cramps are actually contractions and u may want to be checked for dialation.
Good Luck!
what is braxton hicks ..........
as i said pain was just for around 8 min max........... right now i am not having pain any more......
hummm....
Yes go to see you dr or to the er right away! That can be labor and if they do not stop it early they can not stop it at all. It does nto sound like braxton hicks at all for it to be all around like that. I hope you are already there getting checked!!!!!
