Weeks VS. Months

I am totally confused!  I am 15 weeks and 4 days today.  According to babyzone I am 5 months today.  It has all my dates correct- everything is correct and on today it says "Congratulations you are 5 mos. pregnant today."  Does this make sense??  I don't get this whole week/month thing.

I have an account with babyzone as well and its been off the whole time for me. You are pregnant for 10 months the 10th month starting on your due date (which is why when you are late they say the 10th month is the longest) so if you continue chantal21's chart it goes

24 weeks - 6 months
28 weeks - 7 months
32 weeks - 8 months
36 weeks - 9 months
40 weeks - 10 months

I am so confused.  Babyzone has my correct dates and my correct due date.  I don't get it.Going to check out that site Marie1210.

I fuigured since you are really pregnant for 10mos- 5 mos would be correct- but just doesn't make sense!

Chantal pretty much said it all.  15 weeks is not 5 months.  It's 3 months and 3 weeks.  At 16 weeks, you will be 4 complete months.  I'm 22 weeks which is 5 months and 2 weeks.  Try this website.  It cleared up a lot for me.  http://baby2see.com/pregnancylength.html

At 16 weeks you will be 4 months along. Look at it this way, every four weeks is a month. and you count from your LMP.
4 weeks -1 month
8 weeks - 2months
12 weeks- 3 months
16 weeks- 4 months
20 weeks- 5 months
I am now 21 weeks. So I am 5 months and 1 week. I am not sure why baby zone is saying you are 5 months now....hmmm. Maybe you accidentally put the wrong date in for the calculations?
