You shouldn't go on a diet during pregnancy but you certainly can monitor calories and eat right.  Good protein is filling.  Just eat a clean diet with lots of vegis and fruits.  Exercise!  Ask your doctor if it is alright, and it should be, if you can start walking, lifting light arm weights, or as mentioned, some of the work outs created for pregnant women.  This will help you feel toned.

But it is hard.  I gained a lot of weight as I had my boys back to back.  Didn't like it.  But it does come off.  It will be okay.  hugs

Yes I realized that with boys you gain so much more than with girls .I am pregnant with a girl right now that's why I figured I can lose a little weight but thanks for the advice .
I actually had never heard you gain more with boys than girls!  I was always thin prior to pregnancy and was very careful about what I ate.  It was like freedom during pregnancy.  ha ha. That's why I thought I gained my weight.  There wasn't a nacho that I met that I didn't eat!  But if you haven't had a great diet or watched portion control (both easy to do when you are already a mom of 2 little ones, we tend to clean up those chicken nug nugs left over on their plate and the mac and cheese that goes with it . . . been there . . .  so if you changed to more healthy food being mindful of portions, and then exercise a little more . . . you might lose a bit.  Or at least maintain from here on out.  Hang in there

The best thing you can do is eat healthy and stay active during pregnancy. Sometimes our cravings get the better of us. Eat a well balanced diet, not too much sugar, sodas, fast food. And walk 30 minutes a day unless medical reasons prevent it such as bed rest, pelvic rest, etc. Also check in with your Dr about weight concerns. they may be able to recommend a nutritionist or diet for you :)
