Went for my 3d ultrasound yesterday

It was amazing to see our babys face.. I cried the whole entire time.. I ultrasound tech. kept giving me tissues she even started to get teary eyed. And it was so clear... the baby stuck its tongue out and was sucking on its thumb. It had its legs crossed for the first 15 minutes ... so we couldn't tell what it was then my boyfriend started talking to it saying "daddy wants you to open your legs for me and mommy" and "we love you" and then it opened its legs only for a quick second but the ultrasound tech said she thinks its a girl : ] since it was so quick she said shes not 100% sure so she said we can come back in 2 weeks and she'll do another for free!!!! Im so happy after waiting 27 long long weeks we finally have our answer :p She told me it wasnt 100% but that was her best guess which is better than any of the other docs could give us.. So I go back in 2 weeks and get another 3d ( just a 10 minute) ultrasound to make sure and its free... :-] If you ladies can afford it 3d ultrasounds are wonderful

Ah im so pleased that everything is ok as you have been quite poorly during your pregnancy but i hope now that you know all is well that you can realx and enjoy your pregnancy!!!

swade- where do i look for the ovaries? and what would they look like on my scan?

congratulations on having a girl (hopefully) i would love to have a 3d u/s but it costs about £200 to £300 here in england and would rather buy more for our little girl than spend that kind of money on a scan congratulations again!

Isn't it so exciting!?!    3d/4d U/S are just amazing. I am so glad I had one done! And how cool....you get to go back in 2 weeks and see your baby again!! =)  Awww congrats!! <3

Well if you are this far along, you should also be able to see her ovaries in your U/s pics, look at her lower ab to see if you can see it all..

seems like little girls keep legs closed but a boy well hes always ouit there , i have heard many stories with this , so comgrats on baby girl i would be real surprised if it a boy.
