What Day of the week was you baby born on? POLL

I heard in statistics that the majority of babies born are delivered on a Tuesday. Tuesday has the most babies born, no one knows why this is. The day of the week with the least amount of babies born is Saturday. Doctors are not sure why more babies are born on a specific day of the week, but they are thinking that the reason for most babies being born on Tuesdays is because Mondays are the most popular times to *start* inductions, and most delivereies can take 24 hours. And that the reason behind a low birth rate on a Saturday is because most doctors will not induce on a weekend.

SOOOO, I was curious to see how many MedHelp babies were born on Tuesdays lol. What day of the week was your baby born, induction or natural id love to hear!

My daughter was born on a Sunday
My oldest son was born on a Thursday
My youngest son was born on a Thursday as well
Conner was born on a Tuesday!

All of mine were natural labors and no inductions!

i was induced with pitocin and ended up deliverying my baby girl via emergency csection on a MONDAY...on a side note, it was also the FULL MOON which i hear is a popular time for babies to arrive :-)

Maybe they meant for the statistics that, of induced mothers it was higher on tuesday then any other day.

It makes me wonder what states this survey thing was done in.  Did it happen to say?

So Monday is in the lead! lol This is an awesome thread, I love seeing when babies were born, and proving some statistics wrong lol. I guess they looked at the wrong women when doing their count....maybe they should use us MedHelp moms next time lol.

My son was born on the 7th of August 1996 at around 20H00 and that was a Wednesday
My daughter was born on the 9th of July 2003 at around 10H00 and that was also on a Wednesday.

Me and Hazel were both Sunday babies. Both spontaneous, natural birth.

My 2nd son was born on a Tuesday. No induction.
I was induced on Thurs. but he wasn't born until Friday.
And my due date for my daughter is Dec. 4 which is a Thurs, but doc is already talking about inducing @ 39 wks if McKynzie hasn't been born b4 then.

Natural birth at 1:00 a.m on a Friday and an induced birth on Thursday (my husband wasn't going to be able to make it on Monday, when the dr. wanted to do it, Tuesday was already booked up, and Wednesday he has surgeries scheduled, so Thursday it was).

My three brothers and I were born on Thursdays. My sister (the youngest in the family) was born on a Monday! Not sure if that's relevant as we're not medhelp babies LOL!
All natural births too as far as I know
