I dont know why this is, but with my pregnancy I am Always craving Fish. When Im not pregnant I never eat fish(maybe once every few months). But I alway craving fish. I know its not to good during pregnancy so I really cant give in and eat it. I have also been craving Hot wings and Salsa. and Orange juice. I know they say hot things mean BOy and the orange juice mean girl. So who knows...
I've been craving lots of sweets... Like chocolate milk and ice cream. But my cravings are changing everyday. One day I want a cheese burger or pizza and the next day a ice cold salad. I just can't follow it anymore LOL.
MY DH has been very good about it though ^_^
Mamaofone-I am willing to bet the reason you are craving the salsa and Hot Wings is because of the amount of salt in each. I have been noticing I crave salty things the most. Lately anything with hot sauce or tabasco in it. In fact I just ate a cup o noodle with tabasco in it then turned around and ate popcorn with tabasco dripped all over it. I know it sounds gross, but it was sooooo good. Lol!!!! I have been told that is why a lot of women crave ice cream and pickles. Its the salt that we crave. On top of that if we eat too much we need to be careful because of our blood pressure going up. I have been told to fulfil my cravings so i do, but I try to drink extra water to counteract the salt intake I get.
Baby Hardiman, mmmm Shepards Pie is yummy!! What do you put in yours?
I craved steak, cheese, chinese food, and the ever famous pickles!...I had a pickle one day with my peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I hadnt told my mom I was pregnant yet and shes like thats like what a pregnant girl would eat! I had to laugh about it in my head.
Savory food all the way and Im betting I was going to have a boy. If I get pregnant this month of the Chinese calender it predicts it will be a girl lol. If it was a boy last pregnancy the calender would have been correct...so I hope if it happens I get a girl!
Hmm, let's see...I've craved almost ALL veggies (I ate a 2 lb salad for dinner last night, LOL!) but especially cucumbers and brocolli, peaches, pineapple, ANYTHING sour and that's about it. I'm having a boy, by the way. Oh, and I too have craved chocolate milk and orange juice once...mmm...chocolate milk....haha
Onions and Jalepanos`. I usually order nachos so I can pile my plate up with them. Weired I know......lolI used to eat catfish EVERY friday, but can't stand it now. I do like me some Long John's battered though.....Go figure.......
My cravings is cheese and crackers:S so simple....and oh yah GARLIC....on EVERYTHING! its gross haha.....i was watchin tv sucking on a lollipop and found my self dippin it in garlic sauce...totally grossed out my boyfriends little brother
I am still at that stage when nothing sounds good. But I have noticed that the aversion does not extend to tuna fish. I can eat those little Tuna To Go packs like they are going out of style. With my first it was pizza the thin cardboard dollar cheapy pizza with some extra cheese on top. Toward the end, I wanted steak as rare as possible. I really wanted to eat it raw but that was unsafe. Oh, well. I am wondering what it will be this time.
My doctor said absolutely no swordfish or raw fish, but fully cooked fish of any other kind is fine. NO SUSHI!!! Doc said there are too many parasites in raw fish and swordfish. Otherwise you should be able to eat fish as much as you want. Just make sure its cooked.
I'm finally getting hungry again and almost anything sounds good to me.. Salsa and cheese dip seem to be a huge thing for me right now.. I've been wanting those powered donuts like no other haha.. my sisters like dang where is all that going.. im' tryin to gain some weight and it seems like its not happening..i've lost 2 1/2 lbs but im sure it'll start coming soon..
