WOW I WAS OFF! I thought my dads parents both have brown eyes. NOPE! my grandma has green/blue eyes. My grandpa has blue eyes! My moms still has brown and hazel. Then I asked steven and yes he has hazel but they turn blueish sometimes too. His dad does have blue and his mom are a blue/ green. My mom is one of the two kids from her family to have brown, the other 6 had hazel! soo Im so thrown off. My mom thinks I would probably have a brown eyed baby but I think she may stand corrected..

So you are at least a Bb if not a BB.  There is still a slight chance that you could have the Bb gene it just depends on if that b gene was ever there from great grandparents (or older yet) and if it has been passed down.

my dads parents both have brown. So does my moms mom, my moms dad had hazel... My brother has brown like me.

yeah chances are his moms eyes are a hazel colour.  Although they may not be considered "brown" she still might have the brown gene.  If you read the site (listed on the first post), it will explain more in depth of the range of colours.  His situation is a little tricky....  I actually know a girl that has one blue and one brown eye.  

For you.... if you happen to know your grandparents and your siblings eye colour, it can help to figure out your parents genes and thus your own.  Your family could still have the blue/green gene even if nobody has blue/green eyes.

My grandparents had blue and green eyes.  My mom's siblings all had blue or green eyes.   it's kind of neat how it works.  I also know that my dad carries a blue gene because i have a brother with blue eyes.  I have brown eyes, thus I carry the gene Bb.

Wait! My bfs eyes are different colors!!! I dont know his parents either. His dad has blue and im not sure about his mom..i think either brown or hazel..

Steven(bf) has like hazel I guess..theyre like a greenish brown color with brown and gold spots so i dont know! lol

I'm easy. Ive got dark brown and my dad has light brown and my mom has dark brown. I dont know how I would figure that out...

I cant just ask his mom either..she lives in MO..lol. But im sure his dads are blue. but steven had to have gotten his hazel from him mom then right?

Brown eye colour is dominant over blue/green.    B = brown eyes, b = blue eyes...
Here is the breakdown of the genes....

B |  BB       Bb                 So if a parent has brown eyes, they can still have a blue/green
   |                                   gene which can be passed on to the children.  However if a
b |  Bb        bb                 parent has blue/green eyes, they will automatically give the    
                                      child the blue/green gene.  Two parents with brown eyes can
                                      have children with blue eyes, but two blue eyed parents
                                      cannot have brown eyed children.

I don't think you count that one then.  What color were you hoping for?  I was hoping for Brown for my baby.  All of my siblings have brown, and all their fathers had blue (my mom was married 4 times).  I was the only one who ended up with my Dad's eyes.. well not really, his were REALLY blue and mine turned out to be hazal like my Grandmas.

I wouldn't rule out blue!
