What do they do at your second appointment?

I go for my second appointment on June 12 th I will be 14w5d will they just check the heart beat and do a vaginal exam like the first appointment?

Check blood pressure
Weigh you
Hear the heartbeat
Answer questions
That's about it.

Pause-that is very odd that they were trying to do a glucose test on you so early....weird.

I don't know what was going on with my Dr office the second visit they had me drink that orange stuff and I kept argueing with them I wasn't supposed to do that until my 5th month well anyway I ended up leaving that office and found another OBGYN they said that was to early for me to be drinking that stuff they found it really odd that they made me take it so early!

But I agree with everyone eles that they should just be checking the baby's heart beat and you pee in the cup!

Agreed your second appointment will be boring and short. Pee in a cup, check the heartrate and your done. Most ob's don't do internal exams again until the third trimester.

I don't think anyone does, LOL. So you really wont like the checks at the end of your pregnancy. Picture the dr stuffing a turkey, only the turkey's YOU. Haha. Good luck at your appt. :)

I highly doubt they'll do another vaginal exam, that's usually only done the 1st appt and then when they're checking for dilation/effacement towards the end. They should be listening for baby's HB and answering any questions you may have. That's pretty much what my early appts consisted of. Usually just in and out. They will of course check your weight and blood pressure as well. :)
