What does a kick feel like at 16 weeks?

I think I felt my baby today.. I felt a bit of movement and then a pop below my belly button around there.. It caught me off guard.. I was at work and when I felt it I just stopped what I was doing and stood there for a second.. Could that have been my first kick I've felt???

Totally. In a few weeks those movements will be stronger and u will feel them all the time. By 5 months I could even feel when the baby had hickups. Ur just starting to feel them. Soon u will feel rolls kicks and stretches. :)

I haven't felt another big one like that.. Just a slight bump here or there maybe twice a day.. I know it's not gas bubbles tho.. Is that normal?

I know the rolling feeling. Call me crazy but at 9w2d I feel this already. I don't feel it all day or even often but this is my third baby and I couldn't mistake that feeling. I felt my first move at 13 weeks. Dr thought I was crazy at first but the baby kicked when he was checking the heartbeat with the doppler, I said "Oooh " cause I felt it, and of course he heard it.

The first time I felt the baby move, it felt like when you have really bad gas and your stomach rumbles. (without the pain or actual gas, just the bubbling in your stomach)

It sounds like one, from the way you describe it. My baby tumbles too...after awhile they get stronger so it feels more like thumps and rolls. The other night she kept me awake from 4 am practicing her soccer moves. :)

How cute and exciting!!!!! I bet it was. I've heard most people start feeling their baby 18-20 weeks and yours just could be early!
