When could daddy feel baby move?

I'm 14 weeks today, and I have been feeling little bumps and thuds here and there, and they have been a bit stronger as the weeks go by, to the point where when baby does move it startles me lol. This is my 5th baby, and so I know it's normal for me to feel movement this early, actually started feeling movement around 12 1/2 weeks.

However I was wondering for the mommies out there who are on their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or more pregnancies, when was the daddy or when were you able to feel the baby move from outside the tummy? DF is really excited to feel the baby move for the first time, but it's really hit or miss at this point. I only feel movement once every couple of days sometimes several days in a row, but the baby has yet to move or kick for the DF.

Thanks ladies!

Joy- I do believe that the thickness of the woman does play a part in how early she can feel the baby move from the outside. I'm a small woman, 4'9 and about 100 pounds pre pregnancy weight. I'm about 115 now, but I am pretty thick in the middle....I have never been thin or ever had a "flat" tummy, but I could have swore up and down that I could feel Conner outside of my tummy around 14 weeks. But then again my tummy could have thickened after having him as well.

I know DF is just anxious to feel the baby move.

I think it just depends on how thick a woman's stomach is to begin with. A thinner woman, for instance, might feel external movement sooner than someone who is thicker. Daddy couldn't feel our last baby until much further but he was never patient enough to keep his hand there.

DF was able to feel my baby move on the outside around 17 or 18 weeks. Now at 28 weeks she kicks him when we sleep.

My DH could feel baby move from the outside at about 15 weeks if we were laying together quietly and he rested his hand on my tummy. I'm now 25 weeks and she is nuts and he can feel it ALL the time.
