When does baby head engaged???
Hello all,
Am now 36 weeks 3 days. Today doc said my baby is In head down position and not yet engaged. What does that mean?? I googled it and they said after 36 weeks baby should engaged... This is my first pregnancy... And am lil bit tensed... Help me pls...

Petite is right.... it really depends on the pregnancy and the woman.... I dont think you have anything to worry about. With first pregnancies the baby can actually engage during labor!

My baby went head down, and dropped around 31 weeks... She is very very low and very engaged.. I am not 33 weeks and holding on.. I am at risk for preterm labor and the doctor does not seem to optimistic that ill make it pass 35 weeks.. I am hoping to hold out until 36 weeks because even that still feels too soon to me...
But with that said, it really depends on the person as the head can engage days before labor or weeks.
