White nipples????

Hello.

  I am 26 years old.  I have been taking antibiotics since december for two abcessed teeth and have been active with my husband.  I am on birth control but again ive been taking a double dose of antibiotics becuase the infection was so bad (my face was swollen like a chipmunk).  This morning I woke up and was very wet down there.. (Sorry if TMI) when i went to take a shower I noticed the very tips of my nipples were white.  Since i put a bra on this morning they have been sore as well.

My question is, is this a sign of pregnancy?  has anyone experienced this?  its a little scary having white nipples.

tha tis what I thought was a yeast infection from the antibiotics. I am sure it is nothing to worry about and in case it is thrush or yeast I wqould mix some vinager with water and rub on them or lavender essential oil. If they end up huritng real bad then is when you ask your dr. If you taek antiboiotics that makes your birth control not work for 3-7 weeks deoending on how long you take the meds and waht dosage. It does nto matter if you are done taking the meds or did nto take them some days.

My sister had one shot of antibiotics becasue she was afraid on going on a pill for 14 days and she got pregnant the next month. She had taken her BC for the whole time also.

BC is not reliable to me so I never took it. Charting your temp has found to be the best way to not concieve.


But I would take a test when you should start to make sure.

Sometimes you can get a yeast infection on your nipples.  They would be itchy and have a whitish look to them.  Antibiotics can give you yeast infections...  maybe that could be it...?

i have had white nipple tips before but usually after my son breast fed or when they have been cold or wet or something!sometiimes they have just been while tipped for no reason!i dont think its anything to worry about!

yes i know. I didnt take some of them while on the antibiotics as well to try and regulate my period since the pill is ineffective while on them.  It wouldnt exactly be a bad thing if i were, but the white tips are freaking me out.  So i was wondering if anyone else had them ever.

i dont know if white nipples are but birth control(not including condoms) can fail while on antibiotics!
