Need abit of help please! I had sex on 10th September with my ex then I had a light period.. Which was only a few spots on the 1st October.. Had sex in October with my partner Then I took a test in November and it said I was 2-3 weeks pregnant...went for a scan the other day, they said I was 10 weeks 6 days.. But had a scan when I was 7 weeks which I thought I was 10 weeks and 4 days when I went for my 2nd scan but they told me I was 10 weeks 6 days. But I need to wait till my dating scan to know what I am... I'm so worried as my scan pic looks diff to my friends 10 weeks scans.. My baby looks huge.. Whose do you think this baby could be? They told me i was due round about 10th or 12th July.  I am now 11 weeks and 4 days.

you really do need to relax now and enjoy your pregnancy all your dates are def pointing to your partners and a couple of the girls here have concieved within a day or two of you and are around your due date so relax and enjoy :)

Not being funny but I think my midwife would of picked up if I was more.. And sperm can't last for 4 weeks so why am I gona need a DNA?

That is enough to even scare me.. I don't even want this baby now.. I'm 13 weeks so I'm sure I would be more if it was my exs?

I know you may not want to deal with it but its important your child knows who the father is. Just so youre aware, even if one parent is black does not mean the child would be dark, so you can't go by the color. In fact, even some babies born to 2 black parentscan be very light and get darker over the first few weeks. Im not saying this to worry you, but you have to know for sure for your childs sake and in fairness to your partner. In my opinion I would do a dna test just to be sure. You may nit want to risk losing your partner, but how betrayed do you think he would feel after caribg and attaching for a child that wasnt his. Plus it would give you piece of mind. Good luck

Try not to panic...we concieved within a couple of ddays of each other and i def concieved in october! Baby would measure 4wks (or so) bigger if it was sept...honestly think you're fine x

Lol, I think you need to relax! everything is pointing towards it being your partners. You should relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Try not to over think it. Theres not much you can do right now anyways, its something youll have to deal with once baby is born. So just relax and dont stress. :))

Hi guys I had my dating scan on Monday I am 13 weeks and due on the 9th July.. So it is defo my partners isn't it? Or could my scan still be wrong? They said I conceived 14th October... Well I don't think I will need to do a DNA test as he's black and my partners white. Also do u even think its my ex partners as I would be 18 weeks?

Whoooooey :) well I have my dating scan on Monday and all my scans have said the same.. Apart from had 2 days diff.. I don't think they can tell me I'm 3 weeks more or 5 weeks more.. So would u think it's my partners?

Im 12wks + 4 and due 7/7/12. I concieved in Oct, so I would def say thats when you did too as your due date is about the same.

I wouldn't wana do it coz my partner will no and I can't tell him, even though he will know as it will come out a different colour.. I had another scan yday and she said said still 12 weeks. So I think they would pick up if I conceived 10th September don't u?

The earliest scans are the most accurate, since the baby's development follows a very specific pattern in the first trimester. I would go by your earliest scan...a few days either way doesn't make a difference. If during the second and third trimester the baby measures differently, it usually means they're growing fast or slow, not that the conception date is different. That's why some babies come out 6 pounds and some come out 9 pounds, except for the first trimester they grow at different rates.

A paternity test is a test of the baby's DNA to see who the father is. They usually do it after the baby is born, though it is possible to do it in the womb.

If they tell you that you're 15 weeks or more, then you're more. It doesn't make a difference either way, except that you would need a paternity test. I also did not say you were 9 weeks. If you read it I said that you were NOT almost 9 weeks, because you weren't. There's always the possibility of it being wrong, but it's very doubtful.

I didnt say I was 9 weeks I said would I of been almost! Coz they put 2 weeks on because of your last period.. But I ain't had a period since 27th August. I had a spot of blood the 4th October so I cant really tell.. But when I had my scan they measured the baby and told me what I was...
Could they be wrong? And I be more weeks pregnant?

Sperm can survive for up to a week in the female body under perfect conditions. I'm not sure how you're getting that you conceived 2 weeks earlier if you're 12 weeks today. When you had the scan and it said you were 10 weeks 6 days, that's how far you were. You weren't almost 9 weeks, you were almost 11 weeks. Dating scans such as those show the weeks you currently are. I'm also not understanding how you're getting that they would tell you that you're 15 weeks on Monday. If you were 12 weeks today, at the scan you would be 12 weeks 6 days.
