Wieght gain!!!

I'm in the 3rd trimester and my last dr app was 3 weeks ago and I went back and I gained 11 pounds in 3 weeks! I don't eat that much and I'm constantly running after my son. My husband and everyone says it looks to be all stomach. How ofter are surprise twins? I've only had 2 ultrasounds and they said only one baby. Is anyone else experiencing major wieght gain?

Try not to stress about it and enjoy your pregnancy.  I've gained over 50 pounds (due 12th December ) but I know for a fact at least 20 pounds will drop off in under two weeks and the rest will follow. This is what happened in my first pregnancy too. It's horrible feeling fat and frumpy, just remember it's not forever and after bubs is born start off slow with some walks....then when you're ready for it head to the gym :) all the best xx

My first I did gain anything till I was 7 months and then I ballooned and gain very quickly it was crazy I got stretch marks everywhere. My second I gain steady no real big increases. This one I have only gained 8lbs but I know that I am going to gain more now. It feels like I am tighter in my stomach and I am getting tired more. I didn't feel pregnant till this week. I don't eat tones but I think I will gain at least 3 to 4lbs from here on out. Don't worry if your doctor is okay then enjoy and make sure your baby is getting what it needs. Also it depends on your pre pregnancy wt. If u r bigger u shouldn't gain much wt. If u r smaller u will gain more. Or u will be all baby.
Relax baby will be okay

My sister n law had 2 ultrasounds done and they told her one baby. She had a third ultrasound done where they found she was having twins. The girl was bigger than the boy so he never showed up until then and their heartbeats were at the same time through her whole pregnancy.

The same happened to me. I am almost 36 weeks and I gained 11 pounds in the last 3 weeks. Now I am up to 26 pounds total. Now my prince stomach is measuring 3 weeks ahead, so my doctor told me to slow down. I have been drinking a soda a day and that is too much sugar.

If you've had an ultrasound and they said only one baby then you only have one. I've never heard of them missing a baby in an ultrasound. Don't stress though. You are almost done! :)

I've gained 10 pounds in 10 weeks. I'm currently 14 weeks+3. I feel like I'm gaining too much, but doctor hasn't said anything.

This is happening to me!  I lost weight in the first and most of the second trimester, so much so that my doc said I should eat more.  Then, in 3 weeks I gained 10 pounds! My eating habits didn't change and I'm constantly running after my 2 year old daughter!  The only thing I have different is that I'm on makens (progesterone) injections and they're said to cause weight gain.

I lost weight in the first tri, slowly gained it back and then some in the 2nd and 3rd but for the past 3 weeks I have not gained any. Have a total of 16 lbs overall and I'm 33 wks 3 days.
Talk to your Dr and see what he/she thinks so they may run tests as they see fit.

For my 1st & 2nd trimester I barely gained weight. As soon as I got into the 3rd trimester I gained 3 lbs, its not as much as you say. But it was surprising because I wasn't gaining any weight. I believe since we are in our last trimester and this is when the baby is gaining rapid weight for birth. I'm nothing but baby and I believe you are too. It's normal, just be careful if you have gestational diabetes. I actually have it so I need to watch what I eat in order for my baby to not gain way too fast. Because he still needs room.
