Thanks soo kindly you guys... I was on it before so i thought maybe this time my body had gotten use to it.. but i guews not.. Yes i will speak to him about it because its been along time & the depo shot is only good for 3 months..
When I was on depo I was bleeding for about 3 months off and on and then it stopped completely. My sister just started depo a few months ago and has been bleeding non stop. The doctors told her that if it does not stop this month they will have to stop giving her the shot and switch to another form of bc because her body must not be able to handle the hormones in depo. I would call and discuss it with your doctor. You may need to try something with a lower hormone level.
Sometimes if your body is unable to handle the hormones doctors can give you medicines to take. It's not uncommon to hear of people who bleed non-stop when on the depo shot, just like some women won't ever bleed on it. Speak to your doctor and see what they suggest.
