Worried About getting Chlamydia

Hi Doctor !
Months back i had medical termination and after which i became too weak and had knee and joint pains then and there. 3 days back i had went to the hospital to check why am getting this pain along with slight lower abdominal pain. And we had appointment with the OBGYN. She said things look normal and suggested few antibiotics and also suggested me for test. Which includes Chlamydia.

Am really worried what it would be as me and my husband are sure that we are only partners and truthful. Am all nervous about the test result . Its been 3 days since they took the blood and still results are pending. Kindly give me advice.

We aren't doctors, just other women, and mothers.  The test your doctor is suggesting is normal, it's probably an STD panel which tests for several std's including Chlamydia.   It's nothing to worry about at all unless you've slept with someone else since the medical termination. As for it taking 3 days and still having pending results, you can always ask how long results take. Im guessing test results can take a week or so though.

I have had the blood test for different STD's and STI's as well as the pelvic exam and all. I had it done when I got married, and about 31/2 years ago.

It doesn't sound like Chlamydia to me . Having lower abdominal pain can be caused by something else . Are you having  any other symptoms such as discharge , burning when you urinate , foul odor ? Everyone's body is differnt so everybody may not experience these things if they had Chlamydia .  All you can do is wait for your test results . However , It doesn't sound like Chlamydia .
