Worried about my baby!

I am 28 weeks pregnant and I have been feeling consistent movement since 16 or 17 weeks. I have become aware of my baby's movements and when I feel them and so on. Well this morning I woke up, and I haven't felt any movement at all. I usually do feel something the second that I wake up! Is this something I should go to the hospital for or should I wait?

you are supposed to lie down on your side and see if the movement picks up -- if you do not feel anything, I would go in just ot be on the safe side. good luck -- fingers and toes crossed.

Try maybe eating a half a sandwich or something and lay on your side after you eat and drink that oj. Poke at your belly some and then see if that works. :)

Oh, I'm not offended! I just want to get the most detail to you. It just feels scary when you expect movement and it doesn't happen! I know there's some OJ in the fridge. I'll have some of that!

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you .. I just meant that every baby has a day where he or she just doesn't want to move ...... Like I said, try poking a few spots on your stomach and see if you can jostle him/her awake..... Sometimes that does the trick. or drink some orange juice... Juice is sugar and that should work!

What has me worried is that my baby has never been lazy. I feel constant movement throughout the day. I will give it a few hours and then call the hospital to see if they want me to come in or not. Thanks!

If you go more than a few hours without any movement then I would go to the hospital... It could be that the baby is just sleeping and just having a "lazy" day...... Try poking on your belly really hard in a few different spots and see if you can wake the baby up or get him/her to move.....

They usually say to wait a few hours, and not get yourself too excited over it. I am 29 weeks, and the same thing happens to me, it just depends on the baby. If you don't feel movement for a couple more hours, I would call your doctor.
