Yay, the end is in sight!

Saw my midwife this morning and have a sweep booked for the 12th when I'll be 40+5wks, my daughter was born less than 24hrs after I had one last time, hopefully I wont need it, but knowing that the end really is in sight is such a boost to my mood!

Its not something they do in the UK, I'd never heard of it until I started using this site! They dont check us for dilation either until we are in labour, its a very hands off approach over here.

It's SO nice to have a date to look forward to, with DS I went in on my due date and they told me I was still 0cm, so I was soo bummed, was waiting for my induction date, and they were supposed to call me the next day with it, and I went into labor that night! I was also getting a NST every day after my 40 week mark, are you doing that?

Thanks! I was at the point of feeling like it just wouldnt ever end! Can let myself get excited now, hopefully should have a baby by a week on friday!
