Only a few weeks pregnant, although docts are labeling it for longer. Had u/s, ges sac, yolk sac present but no fetal pole. Don't know if its outdated machine or if just 2 early. Anyone else have any advice?

when your 4 weeks your baby is still trying to implant its self to the uterus so it dont have an heart beat yet hun. so your still pretty early. your babies heart dont start to beat until about 6-7 weeks pregnant. so your still fine hun.

okay so even if you go by the Drs predicted due date it can still be too early to see :) Are they sending you for another US in a week or 2? or so...

How far along are Drs saying you are? pregnancy is based on the first day of your last period... so technically your not actually pregnant for a couple of weeks out of that time...
The fetal pole can be seen around 5.5-6.5 weeks and the heartbeat can be seen around 6.5-7 weeks...

What lyssamarie described happened to me, exactly. Thought I was 6 weeks but I was 5. A week later at the actual 6 week mark, we could see her, and I even heard her heartbeat. I'm now 27 weeks, so don't worry yet.

Don't worry yet. It is a normal finding for an early 5 week preg to only see the yolk sac with the vaginal camera. Usually women would have a follow up in about a week to confirm the visualization of the "fetal pole".
