a bumped head

my daughter is8 mo old and trying to walk. she fell back and it her head on a toy, it left a pretty nasty bump but didnt break the skin. she has had a big day and soon after she was so tierd that she fell asleep on the floor. is it ok for me to let her go to sleep?

Yeah, it's heartbreaking to listen to. My daughter did something similar when she hit a shelf and it took forever to calm her down. I'd just keep a watch on her and if she's more lethargic than normal or starts vomiting take her to get looked at.

no. she usually doesnt go to bed that early tho but she has had a big day to day. she cried from it for like 5 whole min ! :(

Has she had any vomiting or glassy eyes? Babies hit their heads a LOT and can get nasty looking bruising and bumps. My daughter's hit her head on chairs, the floor, a shelf (which left a wonderful bruise on her cheek for a month) and got smacked by a shampoo bottle which left another bruise on her forehead.

If she's acting different at all, make sure to talk to a doctor and/or the hospital to be looked at.
