after a d&c

i had a miscarriage at10 weeks pretty much knew it was refered to as a blighted ovum at 8 weeks  so the next 2 weeks i had hcg levels and when they wernt doubling but my doc. was persistant to go on  one finally showed a drop i had another u/s that next day confirmed again. i scheduled a d&c the following week i ts been 1 month in 2 days  i havent gotn my period yet i have gotten sick because of the d&c and needed antiobiotics and a recent cold. i dont know what my levels are of now. my body seems like  it crashing in a way its hard to sleep, harder to wake up my body is itchy, my nipples seem a lil tingly,i havent had sex after the d&c i had unproteced sex back in late dec. i didnt know i was already pregnet at the time had my d&c about a month after that. but to any one who has had a d&c what are the changes your body makes to get back the way it was post pregnency? all ur insights would be very apreciative

thankyou, today would be a month  i really am wanting my levels checked  but  one thing thats so insane until u go thru it   its the loss  in my case it didnt even have a heart beat when i finally accepted i was going to have a baby  this year!  and before, not wanting it ,it tore me to pieces., the due date is unforgetable i even had sighns and symptoms of post partum depression after my d&c . its  hard , and to everyone thats had a m/c thanku for the advise and god bless you

After getting a d&c it took me a full month for my levels to go back down to zero and then another 2 weeks after that to finally get my period. Its not unusual to not get a period on time after a d&c.

I did not have a D&C but after my natural m/c it took 6 weeks to get my period.  I would insist on getting your levels rechecked...they should have checked them to make sure they went back to zero.  You could have some type of infection so I would call your doc ASAP!

I had a D&C in Dec. and my perioid has been off schedule since.....30 days in Jan and 32 days this month......It may be taking a while for your hormones to get back to normal...hence the pregnancy symptoms.....I would think that a month later though, they should be gone.  If you haven't had sex following the D&C, then you couldn't be pregnant....Maybe they are pronounced PMS symptoms.....I noticed that the 2st period after D&C, I had some strange and out of the ordinary symptoms.....I'm sorry that you had to go thru all of that.......
