My water broke when I was 38 weeks pregnant and it felt like discharge I would have so much I would go through a box of panty liners every few days, so I couldn't tell the difference.  I didn't feel right so I went to l&d and had it checked sure enough it was amniotic fluid.  Always better to be on the safe side and get it checked.

Amniotic fluid usually has a sweet smell.  I would call the dr just to be safe.  Good luck.
