I had my u/s at 12 weeks and measured 11weeks 1 day. I am 100% positive of my last period I'm having a 22 weeks u/s in an about 4 weeks and I'm sure if its still measuring a week behind they push back my due date....don't worry though. My midwife didn't seem too concerned.

I'm not sure what is considered small.... I had a scan yesterday at 12 weeks 5 days.  baby was about 2.5 inces long???  I'm not sure if that is big / small / normal or what.

You are close in dates to me.  did they tell you the size?

When I went into the ER at 13 weeks for a scan I was actually measuring 12 weeks. The same happened when I went for my 20 weeks scan. Based on my first ultrasound though I should have been further along. Babies will grow at different rates after awhile and a few days is nothing to be concerned about. In a few weeks the baby might measure out exactly where it should be. They don't get smaller and smaller unless there's a problem.

I can see why your worried tho cos u measured right at the previous scans but I think if the doc was worried then they would have said, I know this doesn't help much cos I'm later on but last scan I was 20+2 and things like babies face was measuring 19+4 so I don't know to much bout growth early then this but I guess it will grow at its own pace it could catch up again n u might notice a change in ur next scan

I wouldn't worry about a 6 days. The sono's can be off by days. If it was 2 wks off then I might be concerned. I personally had that happen. I went in for a 8 wk check, did a sono and the baby was only 6 wks 1day. The baby didn't live past that day. So since there isn't that much of a difference in your dates and the sono's unless your dr is worried, I wouldn't be.

well, the doctor today says maybe due to ovulation but i know the first day of my last period as being september 8th meaning im 12 weeks today. i had a scan at 6 weeks and 1 day and i seen a sac only measuring my dates aparently and at 7 weeks 5 days had another scan and baby was measuring like the dates (so im guessing because no one said other wise). i dont know what to think just.

I have no personal experiece, but I have seen stories/posts on Medhelp that indicate that happens occasionally due to incorrect estimated conception dates? Is it possible that you are 11w1d & not 12w?
