back labor vs bad back pain???

Having constant back pain that intensifies for about a min or so. Can't tell if its baby just pushing on a nerve or if this is start of labor. Been going on since 8 am. Took hot soak in tub, tried to sleep, took tylenol, changee position... nothing is working. Don't have to poop but am getting some pressure/shooting pains moving down vagina and into my upper thigh when back pain does intensify. Any suggestions besides hospital? I am trying to wait it out to see if it goes away or if I start getting contractions. Also my tummy feels EXTREMELY heavy today.

You could be having contractions. If you go in, depending on how dilated you are, they might go ahead with a c-section today or whenever you go in, if not they might wait it out until your water breaks or until friday if it.doesn't break until then.

And my contractions were all in my back. Some people are diff, that is why I didn't know because all mylabor was in my back. I didn't feel contractions in my belly, instead my back.

How far long are you? That happen to me... I started having horrible lower back pains at like 3pm... took tylenol and a bath, tried heating pad, nothing worked. Went into the hospital immediately my water broke and went into preterm labor. I would go to the hospital. I wish I did in the beginning even tho I didn't know.
