What is the best sleeping position for mommy and baby?  34 weeks and can't seem to find a sleeping position that baby and I both agree on.

i have a pillow for either side, one is a long tube shaped one along my back to lean on, its fuzzy adn orange so i think its for a kids room or something and a normal one for between my legs, and a small rectangle one for under my tummy... this is the best so far that i have found for comfort...

Nikihuff... i wouldnt worry so much now as its early to be concerned on sleeping on your back... with my first pregnancy i did that so i could "train" myself not to sleep on my back which just ment that i had hip pain a lot worse sooner... so enjoy sleep while you still can

Buy a body pillow or adult sized boppy pillow and sleep on your left side.  You might wake up on your back but just turn back to the left whenever you can!

Me too. (Nikihuff)
I alway wake up on my back....
And when I thought I was sleeping on my left side i was really sleeping on my tummy........
I think I'm more comfortable sleeping on my right side :(
I was worried my baby wasnt going to be able to get in position "facing down"
I'm 27w & 3d and his in position  facing down :)

It's really hard to find a comfortable position when you have a big belly....  :(

Good thing your all most due (mommyinapril202012)
Hey take care
good luck x

I use the baby body pillow but when I am on my side he sticks his hand out like he's reaching out to touch someone....ouch!....maybe I should try to sleep standing up.??

Everything that I read said sleeping on the left side is best because blood flow is optimized. I am 14 weeks and I try to sleep on my left side but usually wake up on my back, I find it hard to get comfortable so I've been sleeping with a body pillow to try to keep me on my side, good luck finding a comfortable spot :)

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm 29w1d and I can't lay on my stomach because my baby doesn't like that, and I can't lay on either sides.because he kicks and I guess doesn't like it either, and I can't lay on my back, well because you aren't supposed, so i just toss & turn. Ugh.
