Im just curious ... if i was on birth control for about 2 - 2 1/2 years , but now im tryin to get pregnant ... if i was on birth control for a while will it take me time to get pregnant?

I have had 4 pregnancies, this will be my third baby and none were planned. After our second pregnancy miscarried we were told I could not have children anymore and my body rejects birth control. :) I don't know how to try to TTC other than lots of sexy time and cycle tracking haha good luck!!

I stopped mine January 26th and conceived in February 11th :) I was on it for about 2 years. I thought it would take a couple months but nope! Hahaha

No it's not always an immediate thing i was on bc for about 4 years after my son was born and it took me almost a year to get pregnant! I stopped it last February and didn't conceive with this pregnancy until this last January but just a tip if you can afford it go purchase a digital ovulation test kit:) i used the regular non digital one for two months but found them very difficult to read so i purchased a digital one it was almost $50 here but it will tell you the exact day your ovulating bcuz after stopping bc it can take a very long time for your periods to become normal again and you to figure out what day you ovulate. But if you follow the directions very carefully your chances of conceiving are pretty good! Also since your already trying to conceive start taking prenatal vitamins asap the sooner your start them and the longer you take them before becoming pregnant will lower your chances of aa miscarriage my doctor said if i took them for 6 months prior to becoming pregnant my chances of miscarriage would be lowered by 50%!!! You should wait for a couple months to start trackin your cycle. Some birth control really screws up women's cycle
