bleeding and blood clots during early pregnancy

i am about 4-5 weeks pregnant and since yesterday morning i have been slightly bleeding with right abdomen period like pains i went to hospital yesterday dinner time and round about 4pm i lost my 1st small clot and then about an hour later i lost another small clot. i done another pregnancy test witch still came back posative. At home today i lost another 3 small clots i don't mean to be to rude but i took a closer look at the clot by running it underneath the water tap and it was like a clear purply colour and was slimy and abit stretchy.
could someone please tell me if they have had the same symptoms or if they know what it could be. thankyou jodie.

im sorry, but it does sound like you are having a m/c. for only being 4-5 weeks, there isnt going to be much they will do for you.  they just told me to let nature run its course basically with mine. :(

Dear God, i am so sorry for your loss.  I miscarried when i was 6wk5d.  i was at my externship when it happened too.  i doubled over in pain and felt like i got kicked in the stomach over and over again. at that point i was at threatended stage, then the next day i passed the baby. i know how you feel looking down and seeing that.  its heart-wrenching.

im in a similar predicament, however, with the red/brown spotting except my "clot" wasnt really a clot i think. it looked more like red tissue. no blood trail with it tho, so i have no idea.  been having alot of lower back pain, some abdominal cramping along with this.  i just took a test last night too and got a faint positive...so much for that...i think...

Well I'm so upset and sad the baby I was wishing for is gone now. Last night around seven p.m. I had a lot of abdominal pain and cramping I went to the restroom and got a Hemorrhage and when I saw my underwear the embryo was there it was horrible to have seen this I had to call an ambulance to take me to the hospital because the bleeding wouldn't stop it was like a hose. When I got to the hospital right away they took me to the er and gave me iv and took blood tests urine sample and took the rest of the tissue out it hurst so bad. They gave me medicine for pain and nausea because the pain medicine made me nausea. I was released today in the morning and because of the pain and bleeding I can't even walk. I wish no women would go through what I dent through loosing a baby is like the world is ending but life keeps on going and hopefully everything will get better.

It does sound like a like a mc hun,whilst bleeding can be common in early pregnancy.from what your describing sounds like a mc.unfortunately hospitals here in the uk,cant do much if its happening.your pregnancy tests would still come back positive as you still have HCG in your body.I feel for you as been there many times.speak with your doctor,but i think you will find they will say wait until the bleeding stops,if you have servere pain then I would just head straight back to the hospital.wish you the best of luck,and hope its all ok.

I'm about 9 weeks pregnant since I found out I was pregnant I've had spotting and brownish discharge I called my doctor because  I got really concerned in my six week of pregnancy because it wouldn't stop. I had an ultrasound in my six week and four days and the baby was fine and heartbeat was there. But he gave me another ultrasound to do in my eight weeks in four days but waiting till that day still the spotting and now when I whipped I'll have heavy bleeding and brownish discharge continued all along. Well on november 2, 2010 I had my appointment the baby is still ok but he told me he thinks my baby has a cyst on his brain and send me to a more professional doctor for an ultrasound. I had my appointment on Nov. 4, 2010 and the doc. Says the baby is fine no brain damage or cyst consists and the bleeding says that I may have a miscarriage or sometimes it's normal in pregnancies. Well since my appointment my bleeding has gone from spotting to heavy bleeding spotting but now my heavy bleeding is having clots and streams of blood and I pee blood and I have to wear pads because it stains me and the cramping got it since my 8 week and now it's worse. I'm calling my dr. Tomorrow and see what's going on but for now I'm just at bed rest.

if the pain is severe, then unfortunatly I would say you may be miscarring. But if I were you I would go see my doctor, cause it may be something else.

What did they say at the hospital?  I think you should be seen IMMEDIATELY!  You might be miscarrying.  Go to the ER right away.  Because it would take awhile for your hormones to adjust after a miscarriage, you could still have a positive pregnancy test even if you had miscarried.
