bleeding in early pregnancy - I see a pattern

Hi. I am curently pregnant for the 3rd time although I have no children.  :(  My first pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage. At my 9 week appointment my physical exam went great. We then went for an ultrasound and my uterus looked fine but the baby had stopped growing at about 6 1/2 weeks - no heartbeat. I had a D&C and everything went fine. Doctor said that the cause was a chormosomal issue. Second pregnancy was looking good until my 6th week. I started spotting, then bleeding, then cramps...miscarriage in 7th week. Doctor tested my blood for a clotting issue but found no issue. Now I am almost 7 weeks for the third time and I am bleeding again. I have no cramping, no pain. It's not enough to soak any pads, barely makes it to my underwear, but it's a lot when I wipe. Mainly dark red/brown in color. I don't know what to do. My doctor tested my HCG/Progesterone levels 4 days ago and everything looked good. Really good. He says there's nothing we can do this early in the pregnancy...but I see a pattern developing and it scares me. What am I doing wrong??

I'm 7weeks pregnant and experiencing blood just like menstruation.  I also have small cramps just like menstruation.  I went to the hospital yesterday.  The doctor can't tell me 100% what it is if it's a miscarriage or not.  She did a sonar but couldn't see the baby so she had to do a internal sonar.  There she saw the sack with the baby (fetus).  She asked me then how I now I'm 7weeks pregnant.  I told her that I did a blood test.  She told me then that the baby (fetus) look very small.  I couldn't see the screen (I wish I could).  She looked for a heartbeat bu couldn't find any.  She said it could be the fetus is not alive or that the baby is too small.  I asked her then if it's possible to have menstruation during pregnancy but she told me straight forward NO.  Then afterwards I spoke to other's and the one told me that she had bleeding with all 3 her children and they're all healthy children.  My friend had bleeding while she was pregnant with her first child and her daughter is now a healthy, clever 5year old girl.  Her daughter is very small for her age but still she is normal.
I even read on the internet that they say you can't tell 100% that this is how your pregnancy should be and this is how it mustn't be.  So how could that doctor have told me straight forward NO when I asked her about menstruation during pregnancy???
I must do a blood test tomorrow and the Wednesday again to check if everything is ok.
Can anyone give me advise.
The "no heart bead" is bothering me?  Can it be of the baby too small?

I've had one miscarriage. My doctor prescribed me vaginal insert progesterone.
I am also pregnant again right now, 22 weeks. I began bleeding around 8 or 9 weeks and it lasted several weeks. My doctor told me that sometimes, blood is just in the uterus and he even showed me where it was on the ultrasound. He had me coming in every 2-3 weeks and it slowly decreased and finally stopped altogether. My miscarriage occured because it never implanted properly. That was what the progesterone was for. You could ask your doctor about that. I only suggest it because I firmly believe it helped me this time.

i had 2 miscarriages and bleeding was the first sign each time (5 and 7 weeks). this time i did some research online about what i can do to prevent miscarriage. the most common reasons for miscarriage (aside from chromosomal issues) are blood clot disorders and hormonal problems. so i told my doctor that next time i get pregnant i want to take baby asprin and progresterone. i was never diagnosed with anything but i am now 32 weeks pregnant. even if you dont have a blood clot disorder, baby asprin thins your blood which can have better blood flow to your uterus and baby. natural progesterone (prometrium for me) can only help as progesterone is like the glue for pregnancy.  for me this was the step i wanted to take before having a ton of tests done. i just didnt believe that 2 or 3 miscarriages is a coincidence.  i hope everything works out this time for you. God forbid it doesnt, you may want to talk to your doctor about trying these.

Hiya...I myself have experienced similar and has no kids... There is nothing that you are doing wrong honey, and again the doctor just happens to be right there is nothing that can be done at this point, plus by the way you describe it to be it should just be old blood.. Do not scare yourself, if you feel fine and this is all you are seeing you should be just fine..  Have faith, relax, keep being you, do not worry yourself it'll stress you out...  although it has happened more than once like myself, if it is serious please know your doctor will tell you.. you have my blessings wish you well wish you luck!

I could just be that the first 2 pregnancies were not meant to be. My first pregnancy I bled and it ended in miscarriage and my second pregnancy I bled worse than a period for 5 weeks straight in the first trimester and now have a healthy 2 year old daughter. Don't loose hope yet! If the doctor says that everything looks good right now its possible that its go away. Brown blood is old blood so maybe its left over from implantation. How far along are you right now?
