i'm about 5 weeks and confused, I was told my belly was most likely bloating and whatnot. but it has grown week by week very slowly. so i'm confused is this normal for me to have a growing belly already (I was very small in weight before this, probably no more than 110 pounds)
10 lbs in 5 weeks considering if you go by your LMP you only convcieved 2 weeks ago and the baby is the size of one grain of rice seems like a lot...however everyone is different.. sometimes the prenatal vitamins can cause constipation which can lead to bloating - but the weight gain is probably the culprit to the growing belly... Congrats.
Your uterus is still very small about the size of a lime, at 12 weeks is when it starts to push out of pelvis and create the bump (large grapefruit size). You are most likely just really bloated Early in my pregnancy I remember being so bloated.. my pants being so tight and I didn't even start gaining weight until after 3 months.
Most woman will start to show between month 4-5 unless you have been pregnant before then it's usually 2nd or 3rd month.
Women take 5 week pictures because they are excited and it's fun to compare them to when you are 25 weeks pregnant to see how much your belly has grown, and document your pregnancy. I am 23 weeks I waited and waited to show. Finally it started looking like a pregnant belly at about week 18 before that I just looked like I was getting chubby lol. Still people always say "you are almost 6 months you look really small" makes me feel bad I want the huge bump haha.
I took pictures starting at 6wks but I know it's all bloating. I'm 17wks 5days and still most my belly is bloating. I can actually suck it in still. I went to maternity jeans because the bloating was so uncomfortable in my regular jeans. Even knowing that my belly is mostly bloating I had to go to maternity shirts last week because my normal shirts are just to short.
Hi, I'm just 8 weeks and my tummy is about 3/4 inch bigger and sticks out (even more than usual) as I already have a big tummy I look like I'm 12 weeks not 8! My bigger jeans are now fitting snug and I will have to start undoing buttons soon! Feel so bloated.
