blood pressure

My doctor said i have high blood pressure what are the risks and what can i do to help im 33 weeks

Yeah increase your water intake, don't use salt, and elevate your feet whenever possible. Keep doing mild exercise as long as your doctor approves it. Chances are as long as your doctor is keeping an eye on you things will be fine.

Well it just happened recently they retook my bp again and it went back down im pretty swollen and they told me to stop eating salt which im doing and to rest as well i jus dont know if its something i should be very worried about my swelling comes and goes not sure if it has anything to do with hi bp

Is this a recent development or something you've been dealing with your whole pregnancy? With my daughter, the lowest my pressure got was about 140/90. As long as there isn't a spike they usually don't worry too much about it. But if you've had good pressure and a sudden spike, your doctor is probably concerned about the risk of preeclampsia. If you have preeclampsia you will probably be monitored very closely and induced before your due date.
