Ok so i delivered yesterday at 3:32 pm it was a 30 min delivery very fast got here at ghe hospital at 2 something pm im not getting any breast milk any ways i can get breast milk my bby really needs it he was 3 weeks premature & is i special care
You can try feeding biscuits for you they ate full of natural goodies that help you'r body produce milk
Pump pump pump! If baby is breathing well enough to be able to latch then go ahead and latch that baby on. If baby can be snuggled but needs a tube feed instead of being able to latch then have the nurses help you with kangaroo care - skin to skin, your bare chest snuggling baby's bare body, and pump while you're in contact. The smell of your baby will help your production.
And don't fret if you're not getting much. The first few days all you'll have is colostrum - it's super concentrated liquid gold. It might look like only a few drops in the pump but it's miracle food. Baby only needs a tiny bit. Baby's stomach is so very tiny right now so it takes only a very little to fill up. Your full milk supply will probably take a couple of days - mine didn't come in until the morning of day 3 - you have everything your baby needs right now. Don't give up - it's coming!
The absolute most important thing is DO NOT allow the nurses to feed baby formula. Make it very clear that you are breastfeeding and all baby's intake should come straight from you. If you're not there in NICU there should be a sign over the bassinette saying where they can find your pumped colostrum for when baby needs to be fed.
If you aren't getting even those precious few drops in the pump right now, don't panic. Don't give up. Keep drinking water, and keep trying. And ask if the hospital has a donor milk program. Ask on local breastfeeding groups on facebook if anyone has any extra pumped milk in their freezers. Ask for help from Human Milk 4 Human Babies or Eats on Feets. Talk to the other NICU moms, you might find someone willing to share.

Keep pumping u won't have milk at first but u will colostrum which is very good for baby. More u pump the faster milk comes in
