i am so glad to hear that everything is okay! it's definitely an amazing moment! i go for my second appt this afternoon and am very excited to see how big my jellybean has gotten!
i saw the jelly bean today with a heart beat it was greatest moment of my life. As for the spotting the doctor think it isfrom the cervics which is nothing to with my pegnancy. They took a smear test and is giong to send the result to GP if they think there is a infection or so.
you are very welcome! i posted a similar post about a month ago :-) i hope you see your little jellybean tomorrow!! good luck and keep us updated!
Spotting is common during pregnancy and the brown blood is old blood so i wouldnt worry im sure all is well and as long as you have had no cramping and havent passed any clots then it will be fine. At 6 weeks you should be able to see something, i got scanned at 4 weeks and they saw a sac even though it was empty :-( Im sure everything is fine so relax and enjoy your pregnancy and let us know how the scan goes.
Hi,
I am 6 weeks pregnant today, and am having the same issue. No cramps, just sticky brown discharge yesterday and today. I am nervous because this is how my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, however I had really low HCG levels then, and no baby was found. As of now, my HCG levels are doubling, and they found a sac and yolk sac on the ultrasound and everything looks fine. I called my OB about the discharge and she thinks it is from having intercourse 2 days prior. Let me know what happens!! I am really nervous too, and would love to hear your results! Good Luck!
Thank you so much for answering.Itmakes me feel hopeful.
my doctor told me that brown blood is old blood and it's fine. many people have spotting in early pregnancy. i had brown spotting, just a tiny bit, that lasted just one day around 5wks. my friend just had the same thing that lasted two days. she is 8 wks preg currently and doc wasn't worried because it was brown blood. i have heard that as long as it doesn't contain clots and isn't accompanied by painful cramping, than it is fine. however, i would definitely bring it up to your doctor. it works out perfectly that you have an appt tomorrow.
when you ask, "is it too early and will it cause damage" are you talking about the spotting or the scan? my scan was at 6wks3days and it was fine. i saw the sac, the little jellybean baby and the heartbeat. however, if you can't see anything, don't be alarmed. at this point, it isn't uncommon not to be able to see baby/heartbeat.
good luck to you! let me know how your appt goes tomorrow :-)
