i was wondering if its a good chance that you can get pregnant on your period?? see last month i was the 16days late and this month i was a lil over a week early (not normal for me) but i was. my first day was so light i didnt have to use anything. the 2nd day was like a normal period and i had sex on that day. well the following two days my period was like a brown color and kinda light???? then i have sex again the day after that. he got off in me probable 3 times each day we had sex. so do you think there would be a good chance?? I got pregnant with my first on my period (i think) ??? thank you for your help!!! :)

Okay, that makes more sense. Yes, it is possible. You would just have to take tests I suppose. A good time to try is all the time! haha. It makes it a lot harder to get pregnant if your periods are crazy. Most women do not ovulate then, like I said. It is usually half way through your cycle. Trying to get pregnant on your period is not the best time, especially if you don't know when you ovulate. There are other ways to know when you're ovulating. You can look them up online or even get a kit from the store that will help. Checking your fertile mucus will also help. It should be stringy, clear, with white pieces in it...like egg whites. If you are really irregular, going to the doctor would be best. It is not normal to be so far off that you have no idea when your period is coming. But you did say last month you were 16 days late and this month you were a week early...meaning you must have some sort of idea when you should be starting. How are you figuring that out?

sorry to confuse you again! i guess im asking if i could be pregnant either way....last month or this month. no we dont use protection anytime becuz we want to have a baby. we are just not sure when a good time to try for a baby would be becuz my period seems to always be off so i dont know when i ovulate. thank you for trying to help though!! :)

You wouldn't have a period, correct. You may have some bleeding or spotting, but it is usually not red blood and there should not be normal very painful cramps. I am still confused as to whether you think you are pregnant from last month or this one. You didn't mention any unprotected sex before your last period. You just stated that you had sex on this period. If the SAME period became weird after having sex while STILL on it, then that is not a sign of pregnancy. You could not get instantly pregnant and have your period stop the second you have sex. It's still kinda confusing as to what you're asking...but to answer the main question...it is possible to get pregnant on your period, but really rare.

well.....im not sure if i would be pregnant already or not?? im period is usually 5-7 days and about 4days of normal bleeding but this was kinda different for me.....one day it was normal and red then its like after i had sex i quit haveing my normal period and just had brownish spotting??? so idk......i didnt think you would have your period if you were pregnant.

Well I never thought it was possible until a friend of mine told me she became pregnant with my nephew from having sex that once on her period. I looked it up on the internet and it said there is a small possibility to get pregnant on you period. It usually happens with people who have less then 28 days for their cycles.

Well, how long are your periods normally? I'm kinda confused by the post. Are you thinking you are currently pregnant or that you got pregnant this time on your period? I suppose it's possible, but not normally. Most women do not ovulate when on their period, although some claim it does happen.
