can i have epidural delivery i have mitral valve prolapse?

hi i would like to ask if i will be fine giving birth with the use of epidural? i have mild mitral valve prolapse? Am i safe ?thanks plssss answer,,,,,thanks

i think you have to post the result of your echo so that it is easier to determine how mild it is and have some advice... ako nga nung una ndi nila ako maintindihan. minsan pa nga pag isipan kang hypochondriac? outch... too bad pag ganun.. im telling you this kasi parang nangyari na sa akin to eh...

When you have your next prenatal appointment bring it up to your doctor. They'd be the best person to ask as they know your medical history and know more about the epidural. If you have a spinal condition than any medication requiring a spinal IV probably wouldn't be a good idea. That's just a guess! I'd definitely ask your doctor and create a birth plan specifically geared toward your medical needs.
