can you have ice tea?

I think I might be pregnant and haven't gone to the doctor yet, but I drink sweet tea all the time and I was wondering if that is bad or not? Wat should and shouldn't I eat or drink? Any responses will be greatly appreciated

A little bit of caffeine is ok. I wouldn't drink more than one cup or two cups of anything containing caffeine a day.

I drink iced tea all of the time and even asked my fertility doctor about green tea because I have heard so many different things. She said it was fine in moderation because it also has caffeine in it so just cut back!

Tea is fine unless it is green tea.

I know that you should definitely cut way back on caffeine. Most doctors will tell you to stop cold turkey but I too enjoy diet coke and coffee everyday. I've heard caffeine can sometime play a part in miscarriage. If a doctor allows you to have coffee I know that you are only allowed to have a cup or two a day. I've never been pregnant (we're trying) but my sister who has a daughter told me the 'What to expect when your expecting' book is like a pregnancy bible and will tell you what you can and can't eat/drink etc. I'm going to buy it as soon as I am pregnant. Hope this helps, good luck kicking the caffeine I know i will need help when its my turn!
