carrying my daughter

Just need a quick question answered.. I'm 21 weeks pregnant and my husband keeps telling me I can't pick up and carry my 15 month old. She weighs about 26lbs. I'm used to picking her up at times when she wants it. Can lifting her up cause problems with my pregnancy and harm my baby.??

Thank you so much for responding back. My pregnancy is normal. I feel that carrying her is fine. Don't feel like its causing any pain. Its tough not to anyways I'm a stay at home mom and my husband works most of the day. I'm just usef to carrying her when she wants to be comforted.

I carry my daughter and shes going to be 2yrs old next month I carry when she wants nd sometimes I will nd at times I cant cause it hurts im 15w5d! It all depends on how you feel!

You're fine to pick up your daughter! I have a 19 month old son that I pick up and carry all the time. He's spoiled LOL. It's getting uncomfortable only because I'm getting big (32 weeks).

I've got a large family and have had babies/toddlers just about everytime I've been pregnant and have had to carry/pick them up, I havent had any problems and if your pregnancy is normal then you should be fine as well, just go with what your body is telling you, you will know when you can no longer pick her up and carry her :)
