Just like the other ladies have said, baby will come when its he/she is ready! trust us we all know how you feel, I was on here everyday asking what to do to bring on labor.  But i never ever thought about using that.. I did the basics walking,sex.... And i still didnt have my baby till 40 weeks and 4 days.. I went over, but thats when My son was ready to come out and he was perfectly healthy,,, baby knows best.,. Let him/her come on there own, dont force it. I know your prolly exhausted and tired and feel huge and so ready to meet your baby, but I promise you wont regret waiting.  I miss being pregnant with my son soo bad, I wish i would have cherished the last few weeks like im telling you to, instead of laying around and moping and complaining that my baby didnt wanna meet me,, lol... Just start walking now, it wont bring on labor unless baby is ready but it will help with having an easier labor.  Full term is 37-38 weeks, but like someone else stated, there could still be problems...  best bet is to keep that baby in there as long as you can, or until he/she is ready!!!! Your soo close, dont worry, baby wil be here anytime, work on the baby room or go through clothes and stuff, go with friends,, keep yourself occupied for the next month, and you will be totaly surpised when baby does deside to come!!!!! Waiting *****, but you get a beautiful baby in the end, and its totaly worth it!!!

I"m 39 weeks today and as ready as I am to have this baby I don't want to do anything that would cause her to be born before she is ready.  The only things I've tried are things that won't work if my body isnt' ready to go into labor.  I won't use castor oil or herbs or anything else.  I also wouldn't consider medicaly induction before my due date.

36 weeks isn't full term and no matter how "ready" you feel you are to have your baby having it early can still mean all types of respiratory issues and the baby having a hard time trying to regulate body heat. There is a reason baby's are supposed to be in there for 40 weeks and trying to force them out that early is selfish. Even at 39 weeks babys can still have problems hence why they say to wait until baby is ready.

I agree with the other ladies.

Your baby will come when he/she is ready (or when/if your doctor decides to induce labor for you). Until that time, just treasure this time you have with your beautiful little one inside of you! No need to rush it! =)

At 36 weeks you are nto considered full term.  You need to wait ATLEAST until 37-38 weeks.  Castor oil has also been linked to meconium in the amniotic fluid.  If that occurs baby can aspirate it and possibly get a lung infection.  I would stay away from it.  Try other things that will trigger labor only if your body is ready for it....sex, walking, bouncing on an excercise/birth ball etc.

You shouldn't try and force your baby to come before it's ready. Baby obviously still needs time to cook or it would be heading for the exit on it's own.

Your baby isn't full term ...so, I wouldn't go messing around with castor oil.

I would NOT recommend.  I had a friend who took at 36 weeks and she did have her baby, BUT he was in the NICU for 1.5 weeks.  Not safe for you or the baby this early.
