cervical positions after ovulation

SO I am on my 2ww. DPO 2 or 3 CD 14. Does anyone know how soon after ovulation that your cervix is supposed to become high and firm in early pregnancy? Mine is so high and firm and closed. I know that it is early but my temp has elevated even more this morning. I know it takes anywhere from 6-12 days dpo for implantation, but would fertilization of an egg cause the same effects in your cervix or am I just paying way too much attention to what is going on down there? PS HAPPY EASTER! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I hate the OPK cause my temp has went up again and I had what  I thought were either implantation pains or ovulation pains, but 4 days before that I had ovulation pain on the same side that I had this pain last night. I knew that I was ovulating around CD12 I got a positive and opk and my cervix and cervical mucus is the egg white stuff (yuck) and DH and  I have been dtd since I got off of my menses, at least twice a day... (TMI) the day that I was supposed to ovulate 4 times! Now my temp has sky rocketed and I am totally confused! Seems to me that my body is trying to tell me something.... What do you think?

Well, I'm currently around 19DPO I think OR if I ovulated later on I'd be about 14DPO. I never did get a positive OPK......  (I usually don't. I more than likely begin testing too early in my cycle and therefor stop too early. I've used them for 3 months and never get my pos. however I know I ovulate because my CM gets watery and thin)

It's bugging me out so bad I want to tear my hair out!

Thanks. I figured I was, but I was going by the text book. We'll just have to wait and see then. I ovulated earlier than my doctor thought and I am supposed to go in on the 20th to have a lab done, then again on the 23rd about the biopsy. I don't have to have it done right then and there so I will keep everyone posted! Thank you for your advice!

sorry, i think you're paying too much attention. I've seen so many get disappointed following early signs and symptoms of pregnancy then have negative hpts. you'll hate me for saying it, but you really do have to wait till you can take a pregnancy test to know whether you're pregnant or not.
