coffee at 27 weeks?

hey ladies...well I am extrememly tired today, i couldnt sleep last night and i have a very busy day ahead of me....would it be THAt bad if I got my old fave from starbucks?  I looked it up, I would either get a a latte or a frap and the mg of caffiene is 150 and 115 respectively.  I have heard that up to 300 mg a day is ok, so either way I am coming in below that....please say that its ok, lol.

lol all your men sound like mine!! if i even LOOK at something that's caffinated (i'm 26 weeks and a few days along) he's like...HEY!!!!! that's bad for the boys!!! don't even think about it!!!  and lately i've been wanting a starbucks frap SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. i know i can't have my margarita yet....but would 1 cup of frap really be that bad? if not.....when i go to wal mart to pick up kitten formula and dog food later.....i'm swinging by starbucks and getting one.

I think the biggest part of drinking caffein during preg is hearing from your DH/BF abou it.. because EVERYTIME i open a soda in my bfs presence he chimes in "Thats not good for the baby" I just want to smack him sometimes lol cuz usually I drink 1 soda every 2 weeks.. if that.. I have always been a water drinker.. Dont worry about it.. Im sure its only "Dangerous" if you are drinking like 3 big cups of coffee everyday.. I had a huge cappucino before I had my first ultrasound.. I didnt know that cappucino had caffeine in it until later.. lol i thought it waws just like hot chocolate.. and the baby was bouncing all over and then I was talking to my friend about it later and she was like well the baby probably had a caffein buzz! i was like why? lol but yeah.. my aunt drank 6 mountain dews a day during her pregnancy and her baby turned out fine.. overweight.. but fine.. lol

My doc did limit me to 1 soda a day or 1 cup of coffee.. but she was a bit extreme in things and didn't want me doing ANYTHING. lol. I stick to either 1 small bottle soda or 2 cups.

My current doc is more friendly on the subject!

I usually have a cup or two every day or so.
I'm always tired, so I need SOMETHING.
Y'know?

I'll have maybe one or two cups one day, then the next day I might have one... then I'll go a couple days without having any...

So far my baby is perfectly fine, just don't over do it because I guess caffeine can cause premature labor, miscarriages, and still births.

I've had a 1 cup of coffee everyday since 15 weeks (now 30 weeks). Go enjoy while you can!

Eh go get one, and if DH jas an issue with it, tellhim that you are allowed 300mg of caffiene a day, and if he doesnt want to deal with a hormonal tired pregnant woman all day, then he can be quiet about the coffee lol.

I have my daily frap from starbucks and has about 211 mg of caffiene and so thats all I have of caffiene everyday.

I'm drinking an 8oz cup of Starbucks breakfast blend that i perked at home.  Yummy!!  I put the leftovers in the fridge for dh to drink as iced coffee...

yuuuummmyyyy.....its my DH that is the problem...he doesnt want me to have it.....he just doesnt understand because
1. he is not a fan of the delicious coffee ceverages.
2. he got me a kids meal sized coke yesterday and thought he was giving me the buiggest treat in the world, lol.
