concerned mommy

I understand that it says 18-34 weeks but im very concerned at 6 weeks. im experiencing some cramping below the stomach and a little above the vagina. I wanted to know if that was normal or should i be concerned. They come every 4 to 6 hours and i have been feeling them for about 11 days now but there is no bleeding. is this normal?

Cramping is normal during pregnancy.
SPECIALLY early pregnancy because your body is trying to adjust.
As you get further along those cramps will turn more into contractions and get even MORE irritating.

I'm gunna have to dissagree with JoyRenee about having painful cramps while pregnant.
I used to get alot of cramping almost non-stop the entire first trimester with both of my pregnancies. [[This pregnancy I didn't know I was pregnant till I was 12 weeks along so I thought the cramping was due to my period trying to come but wouldn't because I was breastfeeding.]] And they were quite painful at times. Either that or I'm just a puss when it comes to cramps! lol which I'm not gunna lie I sit there and cry because my period cramps just get THAT bad sometimes. [[for my actual period. Not pregnancy period cramps.]]
To me, pregnancy is one big 10 month long period just without the bleeding and you get a few other items added to the package!! lol
You ache, you cramp, you feel sick, you're tired, you're irritated and moody.
But unlike once your period ends, you're just glad for it to be over-
this time you're glad it's finally over, but you get a prize!
lmao

BUT, if you're concerned, I would deff bring it up to your obgyn's attention!!!

Cramping is a very normal pregnancy symptom. It may even feel like pre-menstrual cramps, sometimes less intense or sometimes more intense. But they shouldn't ever be PAINFUL.

The 18-34 has to do with age, hun :) not how far along you are.

Cramping is normal as your body adjust to being pregnant. Not bleeding is a good sign. If you are still concerned, I would give your OB a call to set your mind at ease.
